Chã de Igreja (Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: Txã de Igreja, nowadays rarely as Tchã de Igreja, São Vicente and the Santo Antão Crioulos: Tchã de Igreja) is a village in the northcentral part of the island of Santo Antão. The village is around 40 km WSW of Ribeira Grande and is linked with the road with Cruzinha and Ribeira Grande and the rest of the island, the steep mountains makes it difficult to access the Alto Mira and boats mainy does not use to that area.

The village is situated in the valley area of Ribeira da Garça in which are surrounded by steep-cliff ravine. The mountains are located to the east and west, farmlands and groves dominates the valley and on the mountains, grasslands with barren rocks and bushes covers the rest of the area and mainly near the stream and into the mountains.
The village is in the island's low class. Most of the houses are built with stone and concrete, several houses are built with either steel reinforced concrete or with stone and wood. All of its population are farmers and are based in agriculture where banana plantations, pineapple and other crops are common as well as fishing. Some farms are in the form of paddies and stone walls. However, a part of the needy materials comes from the island capital, the island capital and the diaspora. But for other needs, electricity, communications and appliances are partially available in the area as well as phone lines since the late-20th century. A part of the necessities also comes from the island capital.
